Validation and Revalidation

The University has clear processes for programme design and approval, for both validation (approval of a new programme) and revalidation (amendment of an existing programme).

The Programme Approval Quality Assurance Manual is aimed at academic staff responsible for assembling the required programme documentation for (re)validation, and details the processes by which they are conducted.

 

All University programmes are created and edited within the Academic Programme Management System (APMS). APMS supports and automates the process of (re)validation from programme initiation through to final approval by Academic Affairs Committee.
